About MeI am a self-professed high school bookworm who 90% of the time is reading more than one book and has more than two in her backpack. Aside from books and photography, I am a huge mystery junkie and am capable of reading a half-dozen of them in a day. My love for mystery and action also manifest in the shows and movies that I watch, such as Bones, Criminal Minds, Mission Impossible, and any of the James Bond movies.
I also have a huge love for nature and commonly-unacknowledged pieces of the world around us due to my summers spent in a minimum of one national park every year since I was able to walk. I will sincerely miss the tree in my backyard that has provided me with a respite from schoolwork and the computer with numerous nooks in which I can comfortably and safely (to me, anyway) sit and work for hours on end. The header image is one that I'm especially proud of because strands of spider silk are often ignored or elicit disgusted reactions from those who walk into them. I on the other hand tend to marvel at the speed of spiders who are able to produce remarkably strong silk (stronger than steel for the same mass). As much as I like taking photos of what's considered "beautiful" by everyone, I also like looking through different lenses to notice the unsung beauties of the unnoticed and the "ugly". |
